HiMatch
The parts people ask about most
HiMatch is designed to reduce decision chaos in amateur football groups. That is why room creation and invite sharing follow a specific order.
The questions below explain the core behavior for both organizers and players.
Rooms and invites
A room becomes shareable after candidate times are selected and the organizer saves their own availability.
- No invite with an empty time list
- Organizer availability is required
- Player link opens after setup
Player answers
Players sign in with their name first. Then they can update availability, team preference, and position.
- Login gate
- Availability updates
- Own team and position preference
Admin decisions
The organizer chooses the final kickoff, can edit other players' teams and positions, and then shares the final summary.
- Final kickoff control
- Team editing control
- Final summary sharing
Times
The room invite does not unlock without candidate times.
Players
Players update their own answers after signing in.
Organizer
Final kickoff, teams, and positions stay under admin control.
Privacy
Token-bearing private pages stay out of search indexing.
All questions
Can HiMatch be used for free?
The core match room flow is currently available on the web. If pricing or plan limits change, that should be shown clearly inside the product.
Can I share the WhatsApp invite immediately after creating a room?
No. Candidate times must exist and the organizer must save their own availability first. Then the invite link unlocks.
Can players see times before logging in?
No. Players enter their name first, then the availability grid opens.
Can a player update their answer?
Yes. They can return through the same link and update availability or preferences.
What is the PIN or password for?
The PIN protects a player's name. If it is left empty, someone who knows the same name may update that answer.
Who chooses the final kickoff?
The organizer chooses the final kickoff. The overlap table helps the decision, but it does not make the final choice automatically.
Can players choose their own team?
Players can choose a white or red team preference. The organizer can adjust the final split later.
Can the organizer change other players' positions?
Yes. On the final team screen, the organizer can edit player team and position information.
Is there a calendar link?
Yes. The final match summary includes a Google Calendar link for the selected kickoff.
Do private room links appear on Google?
No. Player invites, admin pages, and token-bearing private pages are kept out of search indexing.
Still unsure?
The fastest way is to create a small test room and walk through the flow. The invite link is shared only when the room is ready.
